Sushi House in American Fork

Great food. Quiet atmosphere. Friendly service, if a bit reserved and soft spoken. Only problem is that for some reason people don't like flushing the toilets in the men's room. Also a bit skimpy with drinks, but that would probably be solved with a a simple request.

Not very good the first time I went but wanted to try again. Called to preorder with no answer. Went inside and everyone ignored me.. 2 people saw me twice and just walked back into the BOH. Rude, turn off your open sign at least.

Poor quality Sushi. I am not sure if ownership changed but we were there Tuesday January 21st of 2020 and the service was awful. Sushi didn’t taste right. Too much rice in each roll, even though they weren’t busy, rolls took a long time to arrive. Overall quality and service was below average. I have been there many times but I won’t be visiting this place again.

Great sushi here. They have a great selection of rolls and thier all you can eat made to order and is a good price.

In the hour and a half we were here we only ever got 1 order of rolls. Our original waiter took our order and never visited us again. I asked another server if she could take our second order. She takes it and we don't see another person making rolls for about 30 minutes. A total of 45 minutes later she comes back and asks "who took your order?" I replied "you did." I don't think I have ever seen anyone look more confused. She asked if we wanted to order again and decided to walk out. After the entire hour and a half she offered us a 10% discount. If you like affordable sushi in American Fork. Go to Sushi Garden Bistro. This is where we typically go and have never had bad service. I strongly advise avoiding this place.

Went to use their bathroom and found the toilets in a repulsive condition. There was no soap at the sink, no paper towels and toilet paper and trash everywhere. The toilets were SOLID BROWN inside from lack of cleaning. I was beyond disgusted. If their bathroom is this bad, how can I trust their kitchen? Their food tastes good and is a good deal but I will never overcome this sort of uncleanliness.I tried uploading a picture as proof but it seems not to work. I wouldnt trust this restaurant.

Love going here. The all-you-can-eat pricing during lunch is the best bang for your buck. Service is generally fast and the sushi is worth waiting for. Don't let the exterior of the restaurant fool you.

This is by far the best sushi house I have ever been to!

Hands down easily the worst sushi experience ive ever had. Feel free to not waste your time. Can't even understand the waitress. Doesn't speak English just points to a menu that isn't even the full menu. Food looked artificial and old. Only thing I can gaurentee you is that you won't see myself EVER coming back. #FoodPoising

This spot gives superb service and tasty menu. One of my favourite restaurants in the city. The meals served quick and the prices are fair. Highly recommended.

Amazing place to have Sushi. The Spicy Crab roll is the best!

The sushi was absolutely phenomenal! The service however, was less than ideal. The wait time for our food was longer than it should have been. Our waitress often would forget to give us a new paper to make another order. It felt like we were mostly ignored unless we made a point to flag someone down. Despite that, if you come with friends or family, it's not that big of a deal. The food is spectacular. 😁

I went here with a local sushi club and did the All You Can Eat deal. Excellent, fast service and great quality sushi. The group did a combination of lunch and dinner rolls and they were all good. Their sunset rolls were the best I've ever had!

Consistently good sushi, especially for an all-you-can-eat place.

This is our go to spot! My wife and I love the sushi and Chris the manager, and Crystal our waitress! They always remember our drinks, and the fact that I love the ginger, and give me a small bowl filled with it. We have taken so many friends, family, and clients here because how awesome they treat us, and how good it is. My only gripe is the bathrooms, oh they are in need of love.

All you can eat sushi at a price that is comparable to other similar places. Due to its location and it being one of the only all you can eat sushi places around, it can get crowded quickly, so be ready if you're going during rush hour. Despite this, the location is clean and well maintained and the sushi is good. If you're ready to take advantage of the all you can eat, you won't be disappointed.

I've been going there for now over 15 years and it was excellent when it started and new ownership came in probably about eight years ago and it's just as good today ! it is excellent. I've also been to many many Sushi houses throughout Salt Lake Valley and they do not compare to the Sushi House, not even close. Try it you'll like it.

Lunch all you can eat sushi is $13.95, Dinner is $18.99. The sushi was beautiful, fresh, and delicious. Our server was friendly, respectful, and prompt. Ordering is a bit different in that you order most of what you think you will eat up front, marking numbers of rolls in the boxes on the order sheet. We ordered 4 dinner rolls, 1 lunch roll and 1 order of nigiri (2 pieces - small rice balls topped with fish or other topping, I ordered the salmon, far right of photo, orange). All of it came together on one platter, and we had two small plates, which we did not use, but would have been nice to use, if we had come with others. We ended up ordering twice more, ordering 1 roll and 1 order of nigiri each time.Love this place. Will be coming back.

Great sushi for the price. Lunch Special All you can eat Sushi for $13.95 is worth it. There's quite a few different rolls there you choose I tried the New Orleans, Crystal Shrimp, and the Rock'N'Roll. (All would cost around $20 seperate not in the All you can eat) There wasn't one sushi I didn't like. The service was okay but still nice!

Overall it was a good experience. The restaurant seemed pretty clean. Service was a bit slow but I guess that’s because they’re being thoughtful while preparing the rolls. The rolls were decent but some had WAY too much spicy mayo. That made many of the rolls taste really similar.

Loved the all you can eat sushi idea! Seemed like an expensive option (~$19/person) but when you think about it, it's the best deal. Got a variety of rolls. There were four of us so we were able to try a variety of different rolls. Outside makes you do a double take but inside was clean and welcoming. Service was fast and pleasant. The friends we were with know sushi and frequent the place. Food was fresh and yummy! Would definitely go back!

Best sushi place I've ever been to. Good quality, and a nice all-you-can-eat deal. I absolutely adore this place and recommend it to all.

Under new ownership/management. Sushi here had been going down in quality for some time. Now under new ownership, the sushi is once again good. Is it the best you can get? For the all you can eat price. I would say it is. But you get what you pay for. If you want top notch sushi then look elsewhere.

The sushi was pretty good and the restaurant was clean. The wait for food and service was a little longer than at other places, but the food was good.

Decent for a landlocked sushi option. Great variety of options and flavors for every taste. Atmosphere is low key, not high end or pretentious. Quality can vary even within a single sitting depending on which sushi chef is handling your current order, that's with the "All you can eat" option.

I wanted to get out of my comfort zone (Sushi Ya and Ahi Muse) for all you can eat sushi so I decided to try this place and it was just okay. The fish wasn't super cold (which I'm kinda picky about - especially with nigiri), and the rolls I tried seemed to all have the same flavor. It was just okay. I probably won't be rushing back anytime soon.

Service was extremely slow on a Saturday afternoon. Ordered 7 rolls and waited over 45 minutes. The sushi was...not good. The rice was really mushy and sticky, the fish was not fresh. I get that it's an all-you-can-eat place, but for the price, I could have gotten à la carte sushi rolls at several other places and paid the same. After eating, I had to wait at the register another 15 minutes so I could pay to leave. Very unimpressed. Didn't get food poisoning, so I added a Star.

I usually love this place. I have been coming here for 3 years now. Today the service was horrible, we could not communicate with the waitress. Every time that we asked questions about the menu she would roll her eyes. She also complained about us to her coworkers in her language (it was obvious). Not my fault that she didn’t speak English. You must speak the language to be a waiter. Oh she also yelled at my father in law. You lost me today, I am not coming back. ... AND the restrooms are NEVER clean.

The firecracker is great. I didn't want to leave my cup of soda there once so they let me pour it in a doggy box and take it out.

This was one of my favorite sushi place to eat. When I first discovered this place back in 2012, I will tell all my family & friends about it. Things have change throughout the years. 1=The waiter was great, he was good about communicating with us. 2= It took a long time for us to get our sushi. Yes we ordered a lot but I ordered a single roll and it took the same amount of time to get it. 3= There was a group of people who walked in and sat next to us I'm assuming some of them worked there because they setup their own table. They were able to get their food before other customers and us. 4= I highly recommend you serve your customers first.

This place is my fave sushi place ever. They have an awesome selection of different rolls to try. Do the all you can eat deal!

I really want to give this place five stars for the sushi alone!! But it’s a hole in wall type of place so it didn’t seem fair to give a full five stars due to that fact alone. If the owner remodeled and kept serving this amazing sushi then their business would explode even more!! I thoroughly loved both rolls I was served and will definitely be going back again and again and again!! The rolls were so fresh and so huge and so so tasty...I’m a fan!

One of the best sushi places in the Orem/Provo area. Fast (for sushi), good, and affordable, huge selection of sushi, and pleasant staff. As with any good sushi place, it will take time to get your plate, so don't expect to get rush service, but the sushi comes promptly, you can order many rolls at once, and they don't pester you for your order. Be aware that, like most all you can eat sushi places, you may get charged it you don't eat all the rolls you order. Some of my favorites are the Las Vegas roll, Firecracker roll, Sunset roll, and Atlantic roll. Perfect blend of flavors, the tempura rolls are done well and brought hot enough that you actually have to wait for it to cool to eat. Have been going for years and will continue going.

This place is a diamond in the rough. From the outside, it’s not the best looking restaurant in the world, and the inside is also well worn. But the sushi is just so good! The bento boxes are pretty good, too. But the crown jewel is all you can eat sushi! I can’t find a place nearby with a better menu of delicious all you can eat sushi than Sushi House for just $20. My only other complaint besides the beat up looks, is that the ginger and wasabi always look old and unappetizing. I do recommend this place to friends

I've gone to this place a few times and while it's not the Taj mahal the value for its price is pretty good. And the sushi is decent.

Just about as good as sushi ya.

Good food. For best service sit at the bar. Wait Staff is hit or mis. Sushi very good.
